FastBack Interchange System

Based around the patented FastBack Bolt, this quick-change system allows the jaw to be changed in 3 strokes! This greatly increases productivity by reducing vise change setup time.

The jaws change easily without opening the vise or fastening bolts more than a single turn. A pair of vise jaws changes out in under a minute with the vise open or closed. Using a supplied 6-inch hex wrench to reach through the vise body, the FastBack Bolt is loosened, or tightened from the reverse sides of the vise. The system saves valuable set-up time on return jobs because it allows the jaws to be fastened while the parts are already held in the vise.

Raw Machinable Soft Jaws Extrusion

Better than your average jaw; our soft jaw extrusion has a full inch of machinable depth. You can save money by cutting the jaws to length yourself. Once cut, they are also reversible because they can be turned over and used for a second job. Most importantly, the FastBack system will save you valuable time on every setup, and get the machines running again quickly. Since there are no machined through holes in front, the jaw must be changed from the back side with a FastBack Wrench. That means that the entire face, and one inch depth, can be machined as needed. Also, there are no spots to catch chips and coolant during machining.

No FastBack mounting hardware is included. Extruded bar is sold by the foot.
